Welcome Postdoctoral Fellow Sylvia Chan-Malik

The department welcomes UCOP postdoctoral fellow Sylvia Chan-Malik, who will be in residence in American Studies for the 2009-10 academic year. Dr. Chan-Malik's work examines the racialization of Islam, Cold War and post-Cold War cultural production, and Afro-Asian political and social formations.
